What: SLIX Route Servers Upgrade
The SLIX route servers, rs1 and rs2 will be upgraded to Debian 13 and placed on a new VM infrastructure. This has already been done for the route collectors, rc1 and rc1q and the as112 router. The replacement route servers have been tested completely and should work after a reboot. Ideally this will be under a minute of downtime for each, but plan for an hour maintenance window. The route servers will not be taken down simultaneously and only after one has established peering will the second be replaced. If you need uninterrupted route-server peering, please be advised to peer with both rs1 and rs2 if you aren’t already.
